What will you do?
- Maintain the school’s premises, grounds, and car park to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and order, including ad-hoc cleaning, snow clearance, and waste management.
- Provide site security through unlocking and locking, alarm setting, patrolling, and acting as the first response for incidents and emergencies.
- Carry out general maintenance, handyperson tasks, and room setups for daily activities, open evenings, and special events.
- Manage deliveries, stock, and contractors, ensuring safe handling of goods and adequate supplies for cleaning and facilities operations.
- Support Health & Safety compliance, fire safety checks, and contribute to Trust-wide projects when required.

What are we looking for?
- Good communication skills; written and verbal.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Numeracy and Literacy.
- General knowledge of building maintenance procedures and relevant skills
- Understanding of Health and Safety and security issues.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills- ability to meet deadlines and make decisions in emergencies.
